24 Salt Lake Expands Editorial Team to Include Three New Contributors in Sports, Entertainment, and Film
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) September 23, 2014 -- 24 Salt Lake, an online news and entertainment source for the Salt Lake community, announces three new partnerships with freelance writers. Tom Kirkland, Tonya Papanikolas, and Audrey Rock join the 24 Salt Lake editorial team.
Kirkland, who is a sports contributor, will be writing a weekly series for 24 Salt Lake called Locals in the NFL, which tracks the progress of former Utah college football players in the NFL. Kirkland has worked for CNN, Fox News and, most recently, he was the sports director for KSL-TV.
“Writing about sports is something I’ve been doing for more than 30 years,” said Kirkland. “The fact that I can help local football fans follow their favorite former college stars on 24SaltLake.com makes this assignment that much more meaningful.”
Papanikolas joins 24 Salt Lake as an entertainment contributor. She is an award-winning journalist, and she recently worked as an anchor and reporter for KSL-TV.
“The Salt Lake community wants to easily access the things that are of interest. The 24 Salt Lake team brings interesting, newsworthy content to the forefront. For this reason and many others, I am excited to join 24 Salt Lake’s writers and reporters,” said Papanikolas.
Rock also joins the entertainment editorial team as a film critic for 24 Salt Lake. She is a screenwriter, film producer, and freelance writer who has published in Rotten Tomatoes, Newsweek, The Friend, AutonetTV, and the Tooele Transcript-Bulletin.
