Mike Colter Teases Microsoft's Halo: Nightfall Plot, Talks About who Jameson Locke is and the Possibility for a Second Season on Maria Menounos' AfterBuzz TV Network
(PRWEB) September 23, 2014 -- Mike Colter visits Maria Menounos' online broadcast network, AfterBuzz TV, to talk with host Courtney Henderson about The Good Wife and Halo: Nightfall. Colter talks about his character in Halo: Nightfall and teases the plot of Halo: Nightfall.
Mike Colter has appeared as an actor on several successful television series such as The Good Wife, American Horror Story, and The Following and is now cast as a lead in Microsoft's new series “Halo: Nightfall” as well as being the voice of Jameson Locke in the severely anticipated new game “Halo 5: Gaurdians.” When asked whether Halo fans and non fans alike would enjoy the show, Colter says “..I didn’t know anything about the Halo universe. As an actor, I wanted to play the character and I wanted to bring him to life. I wanted to see how we could do it. If you didn’t know anything about Halo you could just watch this on it’s own merit; you wouldn’t need to know Halo. You could just tune in and go alright, I’m game.”
While Halo: Nightfall is one of the most anticipated cinematic series of the year, fans have been given little to no information regarding the plot. Colter did give a small piece of exciting information though. “This is an origin story..” He says, “...so we’ll get to see where this cool guy [Jameson] came from and how he became what he’s become. Which is a Spartan 4.”
With Jameson Locke being such an integral part of the up coming new chapter in the Halo series, fans have been wondering who exactly Jameson is. “There is some cool stuff going on. It’s futuristic and heroic. I’m really excited about it. Different character. All on the side of good ... Jameson Locke he’s an ONI (Office Of Naval Intelligence Agent) soon to be a Spartan, which is for the Halo people, they’ll know.”
With such a successful IP for Microsoft and after the success of Forward Unto Dawn, the other digitally released cinematic series produced for the Halo series, it's no wonder that fans will always want more Halo. While Halo: Nightfall premiere in November fans are already wondering if there are plans for a second season. When asked if the story leaves room for a sequel, Colter says “I think So. I definitely think so. I was already pitching ideas about something... There was so many things, I was like, 'you know I wanna see that because why not! There's gotta be a backstory right? What happened with that right? That was a little something I just saw there... where's that going? Where'd that come from? Lets see more of that!' Oh yeah, I think so for sure, but y'know I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch...”
