ClubLink Participating in 17th Annual SUHAAG Wedding Show
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- ClubLink (http://www.clublink.ca), Canada’s largest owner and operator of golf clubs and golf resorts is pleased to announce that they will be participating in the 17th Annual SUHAAG Wedding Show. This will be ClubLink’s first time at the SUHAAG show which caters exclusively to the GTA’s large South Asian community. Known for its world class golf clubs and resort properties, ClubLink has 32 unique wedding venues in Ontario located in and around greater Toronto and in nearby Muskoka that specialize in turn-key weddings and custom weddings services. According to Caterina Giovane and Robin Cawkell, ClubLink Managers of Catering Sales, ClubLink wedding venues are seeing more couples from different cultures, especially South Asians, who want to celebrate their marriage according to cultural traditions.
The SUHAAG Show is the longest running and largest wedding show of its kind in North America. Targeting the South Asian community, the SUHAAG Show is a must-attend event for anyone planning a South Asian wedding. More than 150 vendors will take part. Brides and grooms can shop for everything they need for their wedding, including catering services, wedding decor and flowers, entertainment services, photographers, cakes, destination wedding and resort wedding venues, honeymoon resorts, jewelry, saris, and much more. Billed as a “fashion and lifestyle extravaganza,” the show also features the latest wedding trends from the GTA’s top ten designers and fashion shows. The 17th Annual SUHAAG Wedding Show takes place on September 28, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Toronto Congress Centre.
“We are very excited that ClubLink will be participating in the SUHAAG Wedding Show at the Toronto Congress Centre. It presents the perfect opportunity for us to showcase to the South Asian community ClubLink’s many fine wedding facilities and turnkey wedding services,” states Cawkell. “With multiple upscale wedding venues located in and around the GTA, weddings are an important part of our business. In 2013, 385 weddings were held at ClubLink golf course and golf resort venues. The South Asian community represents over 12% of the population of the GTA. That’s a significant number of people. This year, more than half of our venues have coordinated Asian weddings. Budgets for Asian weddings can exceed $50,000, and the typical wedding guest list is around 300 people. Fortunately, ClubLink has venues that can accommodate weddings of this size. We work closely with the bride and her family in order to make their vision of a dream South Asian wedding a reality. ClubLink offers customized services and menus; partnering with outside caterers to create the ideal Asian wedding for our customers,” adds Giovane.
