You know the saying ... an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Even better ... a Green Apple Day a year keeps schools, students, teachers, parents and surrounding communities proud, productive and involved.
NELSON chose to participate in the Green Apple Day of Service: a day that focuses on giving parents, teachers, companies and local organizations the chance to transform schools into healthy, safe learning environments. As a company with extensive experience in planning and designing academic spaces of all types and for all ages, we are aware of the constant need for productive, educational environments that inspire innovative pedagogical thinking.
While the officially recognized service date is September 27th, NELSON offices coordinated days of service at various points throughout the weeks that follow. NELSON Teams all over the country are proud to contribute to the effort of improving the conditions of their local schools by painting, planting and building all while focusing on viable, sustainable options. Although the effort is far from finished, NELSON looks forward to this great start.
