Cross Country Home Services Recognized with Silver and Bronze Business and Innovation Honors at 2014 Golden Bridge Awards

Cross Country Home Services Inc. (CCHS) was honored with a silver Training and Education award and a bronze Management Team of the Year award at the 2014 Golden Bridge Awards for Business and Innovation earlier this month.

Cross Country Home Services Inc. (CCHS), the country's leading provider of home warranty products and maintenance plans, was honored with a silver Training and Education award and a bronze Management Team of the Year award at the 2014 Golden Bridge Awards for Business and Innovation earlier this month.

Cross Country Home Services received the silver award for its G.E.A.R. training program (goals, engagement, accountability, results), which allows employees to participate in a 12-month company immersion for on-the-job training across various departments. Employees gain a comprehensive understanding of company-wide day-to-day operations, which helps put them on track for advancement and leadership.

“By grasping the bigger picture of how each unit supports the others, Cross Country employees are trained and motivated to provide better customer service while working toward their career goals,” said Sandra Finn, president of Cross County Home Services. “This recognition of our innovative G.E.A.R. training program is a huge honor and validation of our company’s vision and values.”

The CCHS Anderson, South Carolina-based management team was awarded the bronze honor for their focus on customer service, which resulted in year-over-year increased Net Promoter Scores, a national customer service indicator that measures whether customers would recommend the company to family and friends. Additionally, the management team ensures its service culture extends beyond the call center and into its local community. Through the company’s Operation Appliance Aid program the team has presented seven veteran families with new appliances, fostering goodwill in the community and ultimately building a stronger, customer service driven team.
