The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. to Launch Annual Charge Against Breast Cancer™ Campaign with October Pink Shops to Support Breast Cancer Research
MILWAUKEE, WI (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: BONT) which operates Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner’s, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers stores kicked off its annual trademarked program, Charge Against Breast Cancer™, October Pink Shops on September 24. The program will run in all Bon-Ton department stores throughout the month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year’s beneficiaries include: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa, The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, and Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota. Bon-Ton has donated $4.6 million to these charities throughout the years.
