Modernica co-founder Jay Novak was inspired by wooden skis and vintage sporting goods when he designed the original Alpine Bed in 2008. The sinuous curves and simple lines of the molded ply form were an instant success with customers world-wide.

The new Alpine Table’s molded plywood construction consists of multiple layers of North American Maple, while the top layer and legs are constructed of rich North American walnut. Crafted so that each part of the table contributes to the overall strength and stability of the frame, the table demonstrates a remarkable sturdiness and durability.
