Vince Lombardi Trophy inside Gridiron Glory - the best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame opens at The Henry Ford

Fans no longer need to wait until game day to get their football fix when Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame kicks-off inside Henry Ford Museum on October 3, 2014 through January 4, 2015. An interactive traveling exhibition from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Gridiron Glory presents a panoramic view of the story of professional football from its humble beginnings in the early 20th century to the phenomenon it has become today.

Gridiron Glory features more than 200 hard-hitting artifacts, including the Vince Lombardi Trophy, rare photos and personal artifacts from pro football’s biggest stars – Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, John Elway, Joe Montana and the Detroit Lions’ own Barry Sanders and Matthew Stafford. Guests can see how they measure up to the pros by comparing their physical dimensions and athletic abilities to those of the biggest stars in the game, try on vintage pads and jerseys along with today’s equipment or step inside the Instant Replay Booth and see if they can make the right call.

Inside Champions Theater, fans can relive the game-changers, milestone records that turned players into legends through Fantastic Finishes from NFL Films. Guests can get to know more about each of the 267 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame at interactive kiosks throughout the exhibit. Detroit Lions fans will also have a chance to take a closer look at the team’s history with a special section dedicated solely to the home team.

For a limited time, guests can save $2 off museum admission when they wear their favorite football jersey at the point of purchase. This offer expires November 30, 2014 and is limited on discount per jersey. Admission to the exhibition is free for members. Nonmember tickets are $17 adults, $15 seniors (62 and up), $12.50 youth (5-12) and free for children ages 4 and under. Gridiron Glory is supported by the Detroit Lions and site sponsored by xfinity.
