Australian Kids to Receive Cyber Security from B Communications, Arterra Mobility®
MCLEAN, Virginia (PRWEB) September 29, 2014 -- Arterra Mobility® (http://www.arterra.com) announced today it has partnered with B Communications. B Communications will offer filtered home networking, using Arterra Mobility’s patented technology, to families in Australia and New Zealand. Arterra Mobility, serving Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) such as Docomo USA and ROK Mobile, will provide the filtering and parental control engine to power the Family Zone.
The first of its kind, the Family Zone allows users to filter Internet access, via the Family Zone Box, for all Wi-Fi devices used in the home, Internet café, or school. In addition, the B Mobile service will allow users to extend that secure family zone beyond the home to all mobile devices that children use anywhere on the Family Zone network. The policy settings to keep children safe online in the home also applies to their mobile phones and computing devices while they are outside the home environment.

The Family Zone will allow a parent to register their child’s device via an intuitive web-based portal and apply standard or customized filters from various cyber safety or third party organizations. The parent’s chosen policy will apply whenever the child is accessing the Internet via any Family Zone Box. To ensure complete protection, the same policy will be enforced on any mobile device wherever the child attempts to get online with The Family Zone mobile service.
