This invitation-only event is part of a seven-city tour Wincor Nixdorf is conducting featuring thought-provoking discussions on the latest trends and technologies for the banking and retail industries.
Lisa Law, senior vice president of branch support services at Regions Bank, will deliver keynote remarks on implementing the universal banker model with Wincor Nixdorf. Leading retail industry experts will also headline the event. Bob Heile, chairman emeritus and chief technologist at the ZigBee Alliance, will discuss implementing Internet of things (IoT) in retail; Chris Witham, senior manager of front-end experience at The Hershey Company, will provide insight on optimizing pay points; and Chris O’Malley, director of retail marketing for the Internet of Things Group at Intel Corporation, will speak on why mobility is important in retail and banking.
Banking industry professionals attending the event will participate in breakout sessions on branch transformation, (new branch formats utilizing disruptive technologies to enable a sales- and service-oriented customer engagement model); customer experience (how to adapt the consumer lifestyle into self-service touch points); enterprise monitoring (how to check the status of any device in a network in real time, and learn to control devices remotely, manage tickets, and analyze performance); true cash-cycle management (how to improve branch profitability and create customer intimacy while reducing cash-handling costs by more than 20 percent); and security and compliance (how to turn security and compliance challenges into customer experience opportunities).
Retail professionals will learn how their organizations can leverage technology to be more efficient and improve the customer experience.
