Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) September 26, 2014 -- On September 1, 2014, Super-Sod, a division of Patten Seed Company, purchased Perfect Turf Farm, located at 1935 Rogerson Road, Robersonville, NC 27871.
Located only two hours from Raleigh, Super-Sod acquired the 250 acre turf farm to meet the demands of their Raleigh customers, both professional landscapers and DIY homeowners. Super-Sod’s Raleigh store, located inside the Beltline on the grounds of the State Farmers Market, will remain Super-Sod’s site for distribution to wholesale and retail customers.
With two farms already in production in North Carolina, their new farm in the eastern part of the state is prime warm-season grass acreage, ensuring a supply of Super-Sod’s zoysia and bermudagrass brands to the Raleigh market. Their warm season turfgrass brands include their zoysias: Zenith®, Emerald, L1F, and Leisure Time Zoysia™ (LTZ™), plus TifGrand™ and Tifway bermudas, TifBlair® centipede, and more that are in development.
