As reported in the article by The Telegraph, dated 10 Jul 2014: Hospital worker stabbed to death on ward, a male suspect has been arrested after a female care worker who worked at facility for mental patients had been stabbed to death. The man, who is in his 60s, was apprehended quickly after the attack took place at the inpatient unit of Wotton Law Hospital in Gloucester. The victim was rushed to hospital by staff members around 7.30am following the attack. She died an hour later. A spokesman for 2gether NHS Foundation Trust said that the event was “tragic”. He was unable to elaborate on the role of the deceased staff member, although it is understood that she is not a member of the nursing staff.
