Live from NECA 2014 Chicago, Viewpoint Construction Software® debuts the latest release of Viewpoint For Estimating, booth 1050, which provides contractors the tools they need to save significant time and costs during the bidding process. The new release now available focuses on increased product integration with both Vista by Viewpoint and ProContractor by Viewpoint, including new import templates that provide the ability to quickly move estimating data into the Viewpoint database, saving time, reducing duplicate entry and improving accuracy. Additional benefits include the ability to determine materials and labor needs for any job, streamlined purchases and materials management, and tools to analyze pricing on projects to determine and focus on the critical aspects of jobs.

“With the acquisition earlier this year of Maxwell Systems and the Estimation products, Viewpoint was offered the opportunity once again to provide contemporary and mission-critical estimating software to our customers. Viewpoint understands the unique estimating needs electrical and specialty contractors have – whether its new construction, maintenance and repair work, or replacement and retrofitting, we recognize it’s critical for these contractors to easily and efficiently review plans and specifications to properly estimate for costs,” stated Rob Humphreys, Vice President of Product Management at Viewpoint. “We speak with customers throughout the year and these interactions help us understand the problems and issues that our products need to address in order to provide true value to these contractors and their organizations.”

Additionally at NECA 2014 Chicago, Viewpoint’s Tim Gray CPA, CCIFP and FMI consultant, Tyler Pare, will offer a presentation during the Technical Workshop Series, Monday, Sept. 29th at 1:30 pm, room 2, “Key Performance Indicators: Building a World Championship Team”. During this session, Tim and Tyler will explore defining the right KPI’s for your organization, quick start steps, most common challenges, and team and business benefits.
