PDF Day Educates on Technology Everyone Uses But Few Think About
(PRWEB) October 02, 2014 -- The PDF Association, the trade association for software developers that create and process PDF files, today announced that its “PDF Day” educational events for CIOs, IT and records managers are coming to Washington DC and New York City this coming December.
“PDF technology plays a critical role in almost every organization larger than a lemonade stand,” said Duff Johnson, PDF Association Executive Director, and the organizer of the 2014 PDF Day education series. “Most people who use computers for work use PDF everyday, but few stop to wonder how PDF might be put to use reducing costs or enhancing communications with customers or suppliers.”
PDF Day will provide IT and records-management executives with vital, actionable information on the many features and functionality of the universally accepted electronic document format. These sessions won't be pitches for software, but strictly educational content.
On December 10, in Washington DC, PDF Day will focus on immediate concerns of government, including document management, archiving and accessibility.
On December 11, in New York City, PDF Day will focus on key matters of interest in the financial services and legal worlds, including regulatory compliance, authentication, redaction and more.
