Life Fitness Unveils New Elliptical Cross-trainers that Offer Comfortable, Customizable and Connected Workouts at Home
Rosemont, Ill. (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- In-home exercisers hold their cardio machines to high standards – they look to invest in high-quality fitness equipment that combines best-in-class technology and comfortable, natural movements for effective total-body workouts. Life Fitness, a company recognized for providing quality fitness equipment to health clubs and homes around the world, today launched the E1, E3 and E5 Elliptical Cross-trainers, featuring innovative updates to enhance workouts and the design, quality, comfort and durability that exercisers have come to expect from Life Fitness.
Each machine in the new Elliptical Cross-trainer collection provides exercisers with a smooth and comfortable workout. Ideal for all fitness levels, the machines use innovative biomechanics research from Life Fitness engineers to create an ellipse path that most closely mimics the human body’s natural movements. WhisperStride™ technology ensures that, whether exercisers are early risers or night owls, the Elliptical Cross-trainers offer extremely quiet operation that won’t disturb family members, roommates or neighbors.
A step up in functionality, the E3 and E5 machines also feature multi-grip handles with adjustable resistance controls for total-body workouts, customizable programs to target specific muscle groups and cushioned pedals to enhance comfort. Additionally, the E5 comes equipped with controls on the handles to electronically adjust the machine’s stride to increase comfort and effectiveness.
“Our state-of-the-art research has helped us design intuitive Elliptical Cross-trainers that deliver the ideal low-impact, total-body cardio workouts,” said Chris Clawson, president of Life Fitness. “From the convenient machine controls on the handles to a more natural stride, the enhancements and customizable technology options on these machines will make it easier than ever before to reach your exercise goals at home.”
In addition to high-quality machines, Life Fitness knows that innovative console technology is key to support successful fitness regimens. High-tech customization screens are available for the E1, E3 and E5 machines with the choice of either the Go Console or Track+ Console.
• Go Console: This console uses an intuitive design to help consumers choose their desired type of workout, allowing exercisers to control resistance, distance and time. The console’s HeartSync™ technology provides heart rate controlled pre-loaded workouts that focus on fat burning, cardio and heart rate, and daily training workouts for timed exercise sessions.
• Track+ Console: In addition to the Go Console features, the Elliptical Cross-trainers upgraded to the Track+ Console offer additional personalization options and compatibility with Android™ and Apple® devices. Through Track+, exercisers can use a wide range of fitness apps, including LFconnect™, Lose It! and EveryMove to keep track of fitness goals, mimic previously biked terrains and create new custom workouts.
As with all Life Fitness in-home cardio equipment, the new ellipticals were refined and tested in the same laboratory as Life Fitness health club products to ensure superior biomechanics and durability. Exercisers can be confident that, whatever model of elliptical they choose, they’re investing in high-quality equipment to help them reach their fitness goals.
The E1 model retails for $2,199 with the Go Console and $2,599 with the Track+ Console; the E3 model retails for $2,999 with the Go Console and $3,399 with the Track+ Console; and the E5 retails for $4,299 with the Go Console and $4,699 with the Track+ Console.
