Franklin County Fall Fashion Show Highlights Eco-Friendly Fashions and Benefits Women In Need
Franklin County PA (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- Franklin County is having a Fall Fashion Show but not just any fashion show. On October 19, Pachallina and Good Morning Tri State 103.7 FM are teaming up to show off elegant and eco-friendly fall fashions at The Star Theatre in Mercersburg as a benefit for Women in Need of Franklin and Fulton Counties. The doors of The Star Theatre open at 12:30 PM, and visitors are invited to enjoy a fabulous selection of Hors d’oeuvres by Fabio’s Catering & Events before the fashion show begins at 2 PM. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online — pachallina.com/news-.html– or at the door the day of the event. In addition to donations by Fabio’s and Star Theatre, the event is being supported by Inside Out Spa & Salon, Printaway, and Franklin County Visitors Bureau.
“We’ll be honoring the survivors with the fashion show,” said radio personality Kelly Spinner of Good Morning Tri State 103.7 FM. “Pacahllina’s clothing is strong and beautiful, much like the survivors of domestic violence. I hope people will support the good work of Women In Need and honor the survivors by joining us the afternoon of October 19 at the beautiful Star Theatre.” The show will feature a selection of upscale natural and organic clothing such as wool, pima cotton, linen, bamboo, silk, and alpaca. Most of the clothing is exclusive to the Mid Atlantic states and Made in the USA or Fair Trade items.
The venue for the Fall Fashion Show is The Star Theater in downtown Mercersburg. The Star Theater is a former movie house and it's now the home to the PA Opry, a variety show called the Branson of the Northeast.
The Fall Fashion Show benefits Women in Need of Franklin and Fulton Counties. Women in Need was established in 1976 to educate, support, and empower those impacted by abuse.
