Hairs What’s Happening Grand Opening in Hellertown Set for Saturday, October 4, 2014
Hellertown, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) October 02, 2014 -- Where can one find the latest trends in interior design and hair styles? Hairs What’s Happening, at 39 W. Water Street in Hellertown, Pennsylvania is where Lori Blomstrom, of Veneshe Venetian Plastering and Lori Bisson, of Hairs What’s Happening, showcase their respective talents.
Lori and Lori started collaborating on the salon in May. “I wanted an upscale look that was very fresh and modern, but not too fussy,” explains Lori of Veneshe. “Gray is the new neutral, so we decided to center the design around a palette of gray, silver and black which would allow color accents to really pop. I created alternating wide horizontal bands of black with silver strié, and a champagne luster stone finish with silver bubble accents, for the two feature walls. Dark colors are the latest trend in wood flooring, so I suggested an espresso laminate that anchors the space and compliments the feature walls.” Halogen trapeze lighting fills the space with light, while the Sherwin-Williams paint in gray used on the other two walls and ceiling allow these surfaces to step back and let the custom wall finishes take center stage. Salon furnishings are modern, with a touch of whimsy. “I’m especially excited about a child’s chair that looks like a car,” says salon owner Lori. “I expect more than a few adults will wish they could get their hair cut in this seat, too.”
Hairs What’s Happening caters to Saucon Valley residents, though Lori has customers in NJ who are as eager for the grand opening on October 4 as Hellertown locals. As for Lori of Veneshe, she is anticipating her next haircut in the new salon, as much as exposing salon patrons to the variety of interior finishes and design services available through her company, Veneshe Venetian Plastering.
