RBMA to Live Stream Powerful Session on Radiology in Modern Combat Medicine
Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) October 02, 2014 -- The Radiology Business Management Association is proud to announce that it will offer a free broadcast of Extreme Radiology and the Interventions in Modern Warfare with Ron Boucher, MD — one of its most anticipated Fall Educational Conference presentations — via streaming media.
The 90-minute conference session will be available live to members starting at 1 p.m. PST on Oct. 19, 2014 thanks to generous sponsorship by IMAGINE Software, a leading provider of practice management applications and medical billing software based in Charlotte, N.C. In addition, RBMA members who cannot tune in for the live broadcast will have access to an online video recording after the event.
Interest in this session is particularly high because Dr. Boucher, the presenter, is a 23-year military veteran and chair of radiology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego who has helped treat both soldiers and civilians injured in Afghanistan as an active duty U.S. Navy physician in a multinational medical unit comprised of Americans, Canadians, British, Danish, Dutch and Australians. His session will cover the efforts of both American and coalition medical teams currently operating in Afghanistan and recognize the sacrifices made each day by the soldiers on the battlefield.
