Cannabis Now Magazine spent the summer festival season traveling to highly-anticipated, heavily-attended cannabis events that highlighted the best and brightest in the burgeoning marijuana industry. Hundreds of thousands of people had the opportunity to learn about the magazine’s mission to provide responsible, well-researched content that educates readers about the cannabis industry and the culture that supports it.
The publication was able to make it to five major events this summer: the Chalice Cup and Hempcon in California, the Champs Trade Show in Las Vegas and Hempfest as well as Cannacon in Washington State. They gained a number of new subscribers and were able to spread awareness about the latest issues surrounding cannabis prohibition.
In the upcoming 12th print/digital edition of Cannabis Now Magazine, the publication explores the future of cultivation in a series of in-depth articles written by industry professionals and dedicated advocates. The issue will include information about effective light deprivation growing techniques, an examination of the endocannabinoid system and an investigative piece on Moroccan hashish as well as a note from managing editor, Dave Carpenter.
As a California native, Carpenter has had the opportunity to witness the progression of cannabis laws around the country. In his piece, “Ganjaprenuers,” an article about the world of cannabis industry professionals, he gets insider insight from the founder of Venice Cookie Company and PR consultant Brita Forbes about opportunities in the industry.
With nearly three million Facebook fans and an ever-growing social media presence — including being the only cannabis magazine available in iTunes — Cannabis Now Magazine plans to continue working with leading experts and passionate supporters to continue to provide readers with intelligent, intriguing information. The bi-monthly print edition is also nationally distributed in Barnes & Noble, 7-Eleven, dispensaries, head shops, smoke shops, bookstores and numerous other newsstand outlets. Cannabis Now Magazine is also available throughout the U.K. and Canada. For breaking news, visit [cannabisnowmagazine.com
