GAP Hire Solutions’ new Event Services division has been shortlisted for multiple trophies at this year’s Festival Supplier Awards.
The awards recognise the best suppliers in the events industry and are due to be held at the Showman’s Show, where professionals gather every October to look back at 2014’s events calendar and celebrate the achievements of everyone involved.
National equipment hirer GAP has been shortlisted for all three of the award categories it entered. The categories are Best Fencing/Hoarding Supplier, Best Crowd/Pit Supplier and Best Lighting Supplier. Winners will be announced at a prize-giving ceremony on the first night of the Showman’s Show on 22nd October.
This summer of events has offered GAP Group an excellent springboard as it branches out into the events hire market. Event Services, the group’s newest division, has already supplied fencing, barriers and lighting towers to some of the biggest events of the year such as the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glastonbury, Le Tour De France and the Ryder Cup.
GAP Group has specifically chosen the industry-acclaimed Showman’s Show for the official launch of the division. Headed up by Aaron Cooke, the division aims to tackle a monopoly in the hire market by offering a state-of-the-art kit and first class customer service. A special edition brochure for the launch, detailing the division’s extensive product and service offering will also be released at the show.
