2013 NEXT Award-winning technology consultancy and salesforce.com Cloud Alliance Partner Virsys12 joined executives on Thursday, September 25th at Nashville’s Bridge Building to examine strides in technology that are already reshaping the future of healthcare. A capacity crowd witnessed new product presentations and had the opportunity to discuss with industry panelists how quickly these innovations might change common healthcare best practices both internally and externally.

In addition to Salesforce Regional Vice President Shannon McGovern and Principal Sales Engineer Alex Kwain, attendees heard from a panel moderated by Virsys12 President and Founder Tammy Hawes that included Jessica Blackburn, VP Marketing and Business Development for ReviveHealth; Hugh Gaston, VP of Operations for Acumen Physician Solutions; Kent Holdcroft, SVP Sales and Marketing for PharmMD; Mike McCulla, SVP Marketing for Haven Behavioral Healthcare; and Kristen Toth, Director for St. Thomas Health Alliance.

“There are many targeted solutions being introduced daily to solve the rapidly changing healthcare landscape but Virsys12 believes that there is no better platform than Salesforce to bridge the customer’s real time needs and various sources of customer data,” explains Tammy Hawes. “And with the addition of the Salesforce1 mobile app and robust analytics, accessibility and visibility to your data is at your fingertips.”

“Healthcare is Salesforce’s fastest growing industry because of our agile, flexible and open platform. Other key points from the panel dialogue included:

Kent Holdcroft: “We’ve recently added a new opportunity leader board that gives us the necessary visibility to enhance our sales process, make strategy actionable, and report customer acquisition at an executive level.”

Jessica Blackburn: “The key to effective, healthcare communication is knowing your customer and delivering compelling, relevant content specifically created for them, based on their preference. Also data quality and a ‘single source of truth’ are vitally important. Technology is the only means to truly fuel these strategies.”

Hugh Gaston: “Salesforce is key because we use it for Sales but also for Implementation Project Management, Customer Support, Account Management, and even some Product Management. The best part is that it provides a 360 degree view of each customer with their entire history.”

Kristen Toth: “It’s about people and Salesforce has allowed our team to build and use powerful metrics that make us more responsive and proactive. This helps fuel successful relationships with our partner physicians.”
