Big Y Empowers Consumers to Subscribe to the Products they use most at Discounts of 15% to 40%

Shopping for the best brands just became a little easier—and cheaper—for consumers in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Aisle50 (Aisle50.com), the innovative online technology platform that delivers Amazon-style subscriptions to consumers at brick-and-mortar stores, has teamed up with Big Y (http://www.bigy.com) to offer Aisle50’s exclusive subscriptions to customers of that grocery chain’s 60 locations. The move further expands Big Y’s portfolio of digital content on its revamped website. The move with Aisle50 also gives Big Y an answer to the encroachment of big box retailers and Amazon in the grocery space.

Now working with manufacturers such as Procter & Gamble, Kraft, Unilever, Starbucks, Pepsico, Nestle, Kellogg’s, General Mills and Clorox, Aisle50 allows customers to subscribe to their favorite products at a discount. Fulfillment takes place at normal grocery stores, where subscription items are fully discounted at checkout when shoppers use their loyalty card or account.
