Gourmet Frozen Cookie Dough Lists Ingredients on the Front of the Box and is Available Nationwide

The move comes as the small woman-owned business expands its reach, including into 835 Safeway™-owned stores nationwide.

“Consumers don’t trust marketing claims anymore,” says founder Jen Laska. “When smart consumers want to know what’s in a product, what do they do? They turn it over, look at the ingredient list, and judge for themselves. We’re saving them the step of turning it over by listing all of the ingredients right on the front. We’re proud of our ingredients and have nothing to hide.” According to Laska, this philosophy is summed up by the new tagline: “Ingredients so good they’re on the front.”

Jen & Joe’s™ sets itself apart from other cookie dough by never using anything artificial and always using real eggs and butter. The cookie dough is frozen into individual servings and ready to bake, so you can make just one or the whole box—or even a few of each flavor. The cookies are great for last-minute parties, after-school treats, or to satisfy late-night cravings.

“I launched this product two years ago because I wanted to offer consumers a convenient frozen product that didn’t contain stuff like shortening or hydrogenated oils,” Laska continues. “Other companies are starting to copy the idea of individually frozen cookie dough. But I don’t see anyone who can match the quality of our ingredients.”
