October’s Amerejuve Insider includes news on CoolSculpting fat removal, nutrition for healthy skin and body, Houston’s rescheduled PCOS Awareness 5k, and more. The Amerejuve Insider provides educational content and monthly updates on the latest medspa developments and is available online or in Amerejuve’s Houston medspa clinics.

The October Amerejuve Insider, the newsletter for Amerejuve MedSpa and Cosmetic Surgery in Houston, TX, features new CoolSculpting developments, information on the rescheduled PCOS Awareness campaign, and nutrition advice for healthy skin and lifestyles.

The full newsletter and the archives of The Amerejuve Insider is available online (http://www.amerejuve.com/amerejuve-insider/).

Zeltiq has released a new CoolSculpting applicator that can be used to treat stubborn fat and inches in previously difficult areas, particularly the outer thigh. Previous applicators for the unique CoolSculpting technology weren’t as effective on “non-pinchable” fat. The CoolSmooth applicator bypasses that problem, as it can lay flush against the area to be treated. CoolSculpting is a noninvasive, nonsurgical procedure for fat removal. Read the full story in October’s Amerejuve Insider, plus insights from CoolSculpting clients on tips for CoolSculpting treatments.

In other news, Pumpkin is both delicious and a great way to encourage a healthy body, inside and out. Amerefit nutritionist Saba Umar weighs in on the benefits of making pumpkin, both the flesh and the seeds, part of your diet.

“Pumpkin is an extremely low calorie fruit with high fiber and absolutely no saturated fats,” Umar said of the autumn treat. The newsletter has recipes and suggestions for how to incorporate pumpkin into cooking.

The newsletter also takes a look at one of the Houston medspa’s popular products, a pumpkin enzyme scrub that leaves skin looking refreshed. Plus, the newsletter features a full spread on nutritious foods to boost any skin type, including dry, acne-prone, or aging skin.

Houston’s PCOS Awareness 5k, The Bayou City Step Challenge, was cancelled last month due to heavy rains in the area. The PCOS Foundation has announced the event is rescheduled for October 12th. Find out more about the event in this month’s newsletter.

Every issue of The Amerejuve Insider features in-depth information on products, services, industry and company news, staff and client interviews from the Houston medspa, and more. Read the newsletter online, or pick up a copy from any of Amerejuve’s 10 Houston locations.
