ORENCO Hydropower Expands Team Internationally with Luciano Pellettieri as European Business Development Manager
Palo Alto, Califfornia (PRWEB) October 06, 2014 -- ORENCO Hydropower has announced the company has expanded its business development activities to Europe with the addition of Luciano Pellettieri to its team. In the position of European Business Development Manager, Mr. Pellettieri will address opportunities for ORENCO’s small hydropower products and services throughout Europe.
Commenting on the addition to the company, Vice Chairman Mark Matousek said: “We are very pleased that Mr. Pellettieri has joined the ORENCO Hydropower team, which expands our development capabilities internationally and now gives us an ongoing presence in Europe. His experience, skills and expertise will allow us to take advantage of the diverse opportunities in the active European market and better serve potential customers.”
Based near Potenza in Southern Italy, Luciano Pellettieri has over 15 years' experience as a finance director and European representative for various international companies. Most recently, he worked as an advisor for several investment funds, private equity firms and utilities based in Europe and the U.S. to find and select renewable energy projects/assets in wind, hydro and solar, with over 15 MW under management. Mr. Pellettieri also served as European representative for Avant Capital Group, an investment bank based in Shanghai, China. His responsibilities were to find and select renewable energy projects in wind and solar, and to manage about 60 MW of projects for company investors, including acquisition, construction and asset sale. He also served as the Italy Representative for Friedland Global Capital Markets of New York and Castlestone Management of London. As Finance Director, he worked for M.C. Meccanica Cromali S.r.l., Euroline S.r.l. and Pellettieri S.p.A., serving on the Board of Directors for the latter two companies. Mr. Pellettieri received a diploma in Accounting from Istituto Tecnico Commerciale 'Giovanni Falcone' in Potenza, Italy.
