As we expand our presence in the region, Firstmark Credit Union is committed to creating efficiencies and delivering an exceptional member experience.
SAN ANTONIO, TX (PRWEB) October 06, 2014
Firstmark Credit Union has announced the promotion of David Puente to Assistant Vice President for the Western Region of branches.
“The Credit Union has experienced significant growth; adding three new locations during the past 12 months which brings the number of branches on the city’s west side to eight,” said Leon Ewing, President/CEO Firstmark Credit Union. “This new position is geared to ensure efficient operation of these branches, and, in turn, deliver exceptional service to our members.”
Mr. Puente joined Firstmark Credit Union in 1991. During his tenure he has managed major projects, including the launch of Business Online Banking. He has also served as a Branch Manager and, most recently, as an Assistant Vice President of Branch Administration. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix.
“David was a natural choice for the position due to his extensive knowledge of our operations,” said Jesse Martinez, Firstmark’s Chief Operating Officer. “At a time when we are expanding our presence in the region, Firstmark continues to be committed to creating efficiencies for a positive member experience.”
In his new role, Mr. Puente will serve as liaison between Branch Administration and other departments to improve procedures, streamline operations, and implement policies to effectively meet the changing needs of the Credit Union. He will also continue to oversee the Branch Operations Support unit.
