Camarillo Dog Parks Foundation to Host a Night Time Charity Golf Event.
Camarillo, California (PRWEB) October 02, 2014 -- The Camarillo Dog Parks Foundation will be hosting a unique night golf event, Howl at the Moon. The charity event will be held at the Las Posas Country Club on Saturday night, October 11, 2014. Proceeds will be used to help fund improvements to the dog parks of Camarillo, California. Isaac Lowe, one of the board members of the Foundation stated, “We wanted to host a fun, fresh, exciting charity event and we think we have the right balance.” The tournament is a competitive 9 hole event. Two person teams will be playing best ball for a chance to share in the first place prize of $1000. On course contests, including Hole-in-one contests, putting contests and longest drive, are other opportunities for the players to win cash and prizes. The cost of participation is $130 per player. All the lighting and a glow in the dark golf ball will be provided. Registration starts at 4:30 with gastro pub faire and beer tasting served between 5 and 6:30 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. The shot gun start is at 7 p.m. Non-golfers can come to dinner and the beer tasting for $55. After play has been completed, pizza will be served and the winners of the event, the contests and the raffle will be awarded their prizes.
