Graeme Aitken, VP Business Controlling at DHL Express, led the design, development and deployment of a new generation global costing/profitability system to support financial and commercial decision making. Since joining DHL in 1995 he has held a variety of global, regional, and country level positions across finance, commercial, and pricing. Before moving to Germany in 2009, he previously spent four years in the USA as director of pricing. In late 2012, Mr Aitken relocated back to the Americas region to continue the Global institutionalization of the data analytic capability of this newly developed system, particularly in the areas of yield and cost management.
