Provade, Inc., an industry leader in enterprise Vendor Management System (VMS) development for global contingent workforce spend management, has named Hans Bukow President and promoted Tom Rumberg to the role of Chief Technology Officer.
Bukow joins Provade with over 25 years of industry experience and will drive continued business growth for the integrated VMS vendor. Rumberg was Provade’s Vice President of Technology before being promoted to the role of CTO. Rumberg, who has extensive experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, workforce analytics, staffing and VMS applications, will focus on expanding Provade’s featured products and technologies for customers around the globe.
“Hans is a strong industry veteran, whose track record of innovation, entrepreneurship and tangible business growth is a true asset to the Provade leadership team. Tom’s expertise will help Provade continue to broaden their technology footprint,” said Nina Vaca, Chairman of the Board for Provade. “Their depth of experience and breadth of knowledge in the VMS space will make significant contributions to Provade’s strategic direction and the value they deliver to customers.”
Bukow founded eWork, a widely respected and innovative leader in the VMS and contingent workforce management space. As one of the earliest B2B workforce marketplaces and VMS providers, eWork pioneered healthcare-specific VMS (eWork-ProSource) that held the majority of market share. After successfully leading eWork to acquisition in the US and an IPO in Europe, Bukow held various strategic consulting and leadership roles for several growth oriented organizations. With a strong focus on strategic business development, Bukow cultivated partnerships and increased corporate value through expansion for established corporations and startups alike. Bukow also founded several other technology companies, securing significant funding and developing strong global presence in emerging markets.
“Provade’s established technology and innovative product development processes provide a strong foundation for global growth,” said Bukow. “Provade VMS, Provade Mobile and our standalone Identity Management solution are ideally suited for organizations that require adaptable technology to manage their overall spend. With a focus on creative development and strategy, our suite of products will offer additional features to support companies as they adjust to an increasingly contingent workforce.”
Bukow replaces previous President, Edward Jackson, who is stepping down after a decade of outstanding leadership. Jackson will remain an advisor and independent board member with Provade.
