Greenberg Traurig Associate Sarah Niemiec Seedig recently joined the Volunteers of America–Colorado branch (VOA) board of directors. Seedig is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice. She assists clients in a broad range of transactional matters dealing with mergers and acquisitions, finance and regulatory compliance. In addition to her corporate work, Seedig regularly handles legal matters in real estate and public finance. Within her practice she also has two niche areas where she works with the Automotive Dealership and Unclaimed Property & Escheat groups.
“We are extremely pleased that Sarah has been appointed to serve on the VOA’s board. For more than four years, Seedig has been involved with VOA in Colorado in various capacities. She served on the Homeless, Youth and Domestic Violence Program Review Committee for three years, focusing her efforts on guidance and review of VOA’s service programs in the State of Colorado.
“I am passionate about Volunteers of America’s commitment towards assisting those in the community who need it the most,” Seedig said.
Her community involvement has also included the following serving as co-chair of Read12, a program that assists with providing high-quality reading material to low-income children. She has also serves on the Board of Directors for Children’s Outreach Project, a nonprofit that provides high-quality early childhood education to developmentally delayed children in low-income households. Seedig provides probono legal counsel.
Seedig received her juris doctorate from the University of Michigan, as well as both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees.
