British-Iranian Artist honoured at Edge of Arabia Gallery, Battersea, London
London, England (PRWEB) October 09, 2014 -- Fakhr’s, nine-panel painting of Akram Khan is in the National Portraits Gallery permanent collection and, among other awards, he won the BP Portraits Travel Award to Iran. A graduate of The Slade, he has lived and painted in Brighton for the past fifteen years and is an active member of the Sussex Arts Club where he sometimes gives lessons.
On Wednesday Oct. 15th there will be free transport from the South London Gallery Event at 11 am. Return transport to the Frieze at 13.00 with advance notice.

On the surface, or else buried beneath multiple layers of paint, DF presents brief apercus of recent Iranian history, each one suggestive of its relationship to the present.
