What do a raccoon, a fish, and a snail all have in common? They are the latest characters in the Fearless Fifteen Series by Lisa Hallas with illustrations by Rupal Patel, launched on Amazon.com – http://tinyurl.com/mw3ugsn - to help new readers with reading fluency and confidence building while addressing their worries.
Through the stories of Sam the Snail, Fred the Fish, and Rosey the Raccoon, Lisa Hallas has created a collection of animal friends who have fears and worries like many grade school children. Lisa is able to weave together the basic fundamentals of learning to read with a helpful and positive message in three separate stories written for the young reader, including:
Sam the Snail - Sam does not fit in with his fear of little spaces. How does he handle his fear so he can enjoy more time with his family and friends?
Fred the Fish - Fred worries a lot. He does not want to worry so much. What does he do to stop worrying so much?
Rosey the Racoon - Rosey is starting summer camp. Everyone is excited for her. But, she is nervous. What does Rosey do to feel less nervous about summer camp?
