Before deploying Sugar, LabSource’s different sales teams used several CRM systems that didn’t have access to each other’s data. “Before Sugar, there was animosity between the sales divisions because they were discounting over each other and we were blind to the problem,” explained LabSource VP of Sales & Marketing Pete Nelson. They brought in TAI to assess their business needs, recommend a single CRM system, and migrate all of their disparate data into the new system. TAI knew that Sugar would have the best features and analytics to fit all of LabSource’s different sales methodologies. Customizing the data migration from the separate systems provided the most daunting task. “Communication was crucial during this extended project,” said TAI Consultant Lan Luo. “Status updates from both sides allowed the data import to go smoothly.”
The LabSource sales teams no longer step on each other’s toes since deploying Sugar. A centralized system with all the capabilities of Sugar has allowed LabSource to better serve their customers and adapt quickly to market demands.
