Winifred S. Hayes, Inc. (http://www.hayesinc.com), a leader in promoting better health outcomes through the use of evidence, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 5-year contract to make available its products to General Services Administration (GSA) purchasers via GSA Advantage, the federal government’s online purchasing service. Through this portal, federal agencies, including agencies of the Department of Health and Human Services, Veterans Administration, and the Defense Health Agency, gain access to Hayes library of over 1500 health technology assessment and comparative-effectiveness reports for purchase at discounted rates.
“Hayes is excited to have the opportunity to support federal agencies that need independent, evidence-based information on existing and emerging medical technologies,” says Cici Collins, Vice President, Government Services. “Our products will enable professionals who are responsible for policy development, coverage policy, strategic planning, and technology acquisition to evaluate the impact of a particular health technology on patient outcomes, health care utilization, and cost, all of which ultimately impact the quality and cost-effectiveness of health care in this country.”
GSA purchasers will be able to purchase single or bundled reports. These include reports on capital equipment, devices, durable medical equipment, procedures, drugs/biologics, diagnostic tests, including genetic tests, and behavioral and mental health interventions.
