When the USA Basketball Women’s World Championship Team captured the 2014 FIBA World Championship title in Istanbul yesterday, they did so on the championship Connor Sports®. hardwood basketball court.

All games of the FIBA Women’s World Championship in Turkey were played in Connor Sports venues. From the Group Phase and Qualifications for the Quarter-Finals that were played at Ankara Arena and Istanbul's Abdi Ipekci Arena from September 27 to October 1, to the Final Phase that took place at Fenerbahce Arena, Connor hardwood was a constant.

The FIBA Women’s World Championship, which ended with a victory yesterday by undefeated Team USA over Spain representing a second-straight world title and ninth overall world championship for the U.S. women’s team, marked the second Team USA title on the Connor hardwood this year. The FIBA Basketball World Cup was also contended on all Connor Sports surfaces, where Team USA also brought home a title.
