Zintera Names Veteran IBM Watson Distinguished Engineer Pete Bouchard As Cognitive Innovation Officer

As Cognitive Innovation Officer (CIO), Bouchard will work closely with his scientific peers to lead ZinLabs to commercialize several core technologies developed by Zintera, including their cognitive enablement platform. Previously, Bouchard was employed by IBM, where he focused his efforts on the commercialization of the technologies behind Watson in numerous verticals including financial services, healthcare, and pharmaceutical.
Bouchard joined the highly entrepreneurial IBM Watson Lab team in 2011 after the technology debuted on Jeopardy. At the time, his primary mission was to take a lab-based technology and advance it to solve of real-world applied problems. Prior to working with Watson, Bouchard was a principal architect for IBM’s Health Care and Life Sciences organization where IBM technologies are used to solve complex health care problems. His career at IBM as a Distinguished Engineer spanned over sixteen years. Bouchard is widely recognized as one of the true innovators who has actually architected cognitive application solutions in the healthcare market.
