Trips2Italy Supports The Efforts Being Put Forth By The Houston Festa Italiana
Houston, TX (PRWEB) October 09, 2014 -- Trips2Italy, a Houston based company who creates custom trips to Italy, announced that they will donate a custom trip for two worth $6,000 as the Grand Prize for a raffle during the 2014 Houston Italian Festival. The trip will be custom designed with the raffle winner and is good for travel any time during the next year.
Tommaso De Poi, President and CEO of Trips2Italy is a native of Italy and started the company with the idea that discovering “how to live like the Romans do” means that you must first ask one. “All of my tour guides and coordinators are local and native to towns and cities throughout Italy,” states De Poi. “So you visit Italy as though you are visiting friends, who can show you all of the major sites, as well as the out of the way places that only the locals know.”
Trips2Italy is a Platinum Sponsor of Festa Italiana and will have a booth on the grounds as well. They are also sponsoring a series of short films, where visitors can get a taste of what Italy is all about.
The Houston Italian Festival will be held on the grounds of the University of St. Thomas on October 9-12th. Raffle tickets are on sale now. Donations are $5 per ticket or $25 for a book of six. The raffle drawing will be held on Sunday, October 12, at the festival. The winner does not have to be present to win.
The Houston Italian Festival is comprised of about 15 booths made with colorful roofs covering folding tables filled with an array of Italian pastries, foods homemade by Italian club members, and Italian wines. Festa Italiana has been an annual event since 1978 and is one of the largest ethnic festivals in the city - an event that attracts thousands of Houstonians.
