Los Angeles public relations firm PMBC Group is pleased to announce a new client relationship with Magicalis, creators of Dawn – a first-to-market crowd-sourced platform allowing parents to influence and shape media content available to their children. As a client, PMBC Group will manage the national launch of the Dawn app and all subsequent media relations.

“Dawn will offer parents an excellent tool to manage their children’s media consumption, which is why we are eager to support promote such an app,” said Ola Danilina, CEO and founder of PMBC Group. “Many parents crave more guidelines and tips from other parents to better monitor their child’s consumption of media, apps and games, not having a viable option until now.”

The Dawn app works off a democratic, crowd-sourced platform. Through its cutting-edge technology parents can provide feedback about the games and media their children are consuming. This allows them to pick and choose rather than simply block numerous apps based on pre-set parameters. The ever-evolving, crowd-sourced knowledge platform allowed users to rate favorite apps and games for age groups ranging from a few months old to 12 years.

“The team behind the Dawn app has spent years conducting research and development to craft a tool that would resonate with parents,” said Dan Olschwang, founder and CEO of Magicalis. “We are excited to team up with PMBC Group to launch it nationally so that concerned parents can now search for age-appropriate apps and games for their children, filtering by more than a dozen categories that best fit their values system.”

Offering a sliding scale for more 15 categories, Dawn parents can set parameters for learning, creativity, empathy, competitiveness, sexuality, profanity and violence. This empowers parents to select apps, games, and media that best reflects their values and belief system.
