Designer Chet Pourciau Launches “Iberia Parish” Furnishing Line
New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) October 09, 2014 -- New Orleans based designer Chet Pourciau has just launched his home furnishing line, Iberia Parish.
Pourciau hails from New Iberia, Louisiana. When he decided to design his furnishings line, he had his boyhood surroundings in mind.
Pourciau captures the muted softness and hues of the sugar cane fields of his childhood in his linen furnishings and adds the unexpected "pop" of vivid color occasionally encountered in a sub-tropical environment.
Iberia Parish embodies Pourciau’s undeniably original style. His attention to detail and passion for his craft is evident in each piece of this line. All pieces are hand made in Louisiana.
“I am thrilled to produce a line of furnishings that I think expresses the combination of elegance and comfort that I strive for,” Pourciau said.
Iberia Parish is currently available in three color options, and the design can be easily customized for a client's needs.
“I'd love to make a series of chairs for a hotel lobby or living room that are all the same color, but one or two shades lighter or darker from each other!” said Pourciau.
In addition to the chairs, ottomans, cord covers, candles and pillows are all presently available.
“The great thing about the chairs is that they work equally well at a dining table as they do as an accent chair or side chair.”
Although Pourciau is currently in discussions about distribution, at this time the Iberia Parish line is available exclusively through Chet Pourciau Design and can be purchased at his Magazine Street showroom or on his website at ChetPourciauDesign.com.
