Advanced Design Technology - TURBOdesign Suite User Group Meeting 2014 - Guest Speakers Announced
LONDON, UK (PRWEB UK) 9 October 2014 -- Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite have recently announced hosting the inaugural TURBOdesign Suite User Group Meeting to be held on November 6 and 7, 2014 in Central London, UK to mark the 15th anniversary of the first commercial release of TURBOdesign1.
World leading turbomachinery manufacturers across industrial, transportation, power generation and HVAC industries will present advancements in design, analysis and optimization technologies for faster and more efficient product development.
The event will feature presentations from global turbomachinery manufacturers such as Cummins Turbo Technologies, the market leader for turbochargers in the commercial vehicle market, producing some of the most durable and innovative turbochargers to meet global challenges of emissions reduction, fuel consumption and total cost of ownership. Daikin Applied, a member of the #1 global air conditioning company, Daikin Industries. Daikin Applied manufactures technologically advanced commercial HVAC systems and Valeo, a leading automotive supplier and partner to all automakers worldwide proposing innovative products and systems.
The pump industry in particular will be strongly represented with four of the world leading manufacturers, including EBARA Corporation Fluid Machinery & Systems, a world leader in the design and manufacture of centrifugal electric pumps for the industrial and domestic markets. SPX - ClydeUnion Pumps is one of the world's leading pump companies - a centre of excellence in pump technology, hydraulic design and engineering. ITT Goulds Pumps is among the most widely recognised and respected brands in the global pump industry, serving customers in the oil and gas, mining, power generation, chemical, pulp and paper, and general industrial markets. Finally, Grundfos, the world's largest pump manufacturer with an annual production of more than 16 million pump units and covering approximately 50% of the circulators world market.
ADT will be hosting over 10 guest speakers across the two-day event, from all around the world. Each giving a detailed and interesting insight into how ADT and the TURBOdesign Suite has helped in real world, industrial design challenges for development of innovative, breakthrough turbomachinery components. As well as external speakers, ADT's very own founder and Managing Director, Prof. Mehrdad Zangeneh, will be officially announcing a new software for complex geometry optimization, followed by a live demonstration.
Along with user presentations the event will feature application specific design workshops for the design, analysis and optimization of turbomachinery components.
