During this year’s conference both of the 2013 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) recipients, Pewaukee School District and Sutter Davis Hospital, will serve as Keynote Speakers and present information on their performance excellence journeys along with several other past MBNQA recipients representing various sectors of the economy.

The following Pennsylvania organizations will receive KAPE recognition:

KAPE is a non-profit corporation that promotes Pennsylvania competitiveness through a progressive, three-tiered assessment and awards process that encourages and recognizes organizational performance improvement. The KAPE Award process is open to all organizations in business, education, health care, government and non-profit sectors. The process is based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria, a proven system for assessing and improving organizational performance.

“Applicants say that the KAPE process is one of the best, most cost-effective and comprehensive assessments available. By applying, an organization receives many benefits, including an independent evaluation by KAPE Examiners selected for their Criteria knowledge and industry expertise, and a detailed feedback report highlighting an organization’s strengths and opportunities for improvement,” said Bob Bitner, KAPE Executive Director.

KAPE encourages all Pennsylvania public and private organizations to begin their journey toward performance excellence, regardless of status or size.
