Keeping customer data safe is our responsibility and is an ongoing, living process. Achieving PCI DSS certification is the first step to earning and maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and partners.
Topeka, KS (PRWEB) October 16, 2014
Yantra Financial Technologies (YFT), a venture backed financial technology company based in Topeka, KS, announced today that it has received Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification. The company’s official Attestation of Compliance (AOC) report covers prepaid services, issuing processing, account management, payment gateway/switching and clearing & settlement. Completing the assessment and audit was Information Exchange, Inc., and its senior Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) Jonathan Foster.
“PCI DSS certification is a major milestone for our company. It is a critical component for card processors and required by all card associations and our sponsoring financial institutions. Our team of engineers and operations staff put in significant effort to accomplish this. We are very proud of the effort.” said Randy San Nicolas, Head of Prepaid Solutions for Yantra Financial Technologies.
PCI DSS provides an actionable framework for developing a robust payment card data security process -- including prevention, detection and appropriate reaction to security incidents. This comprehensive standard is intended to help organizations proactively protect customer account data.
San Nicolas added, “Keeping customer data safe is our responsibility and is an ongoing, living process. Achieving PCI DSS certification is the first step to earning and maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and partners.”
