Leading conference for operating room managers and business managers releases full agenda, new preconference workshop, and networking opportunities for Orlando 2015.

Attendees in 2014 told us they were ‘revitalized and inspired to improve.’ Our goal is to generate that same level of enthusiasm in 2015

The OR Business Management Conference is an interactive and educational event aiming to aid today’s operating room and surgical suite business managers in increasing efficiency, reducing supply chain costs, optimizing throughput, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Presented by OR Manager, the conference will be held in Orlando, FL, February 15-18, 2015. The agenda has been expanded to include more sessions, a preconference workshop, and more opportunities to network with industry peers.

The conference will kick off Sunday, February 15, with the first-ever Preconference Workshop, “Safety, Quality, and Compliance in Perioperative Services: Understanding the Processes, Drivers, and Potential Pitfalls.” This workshop, which gives the non-clinician a clinical update to better support the nursing and surgical staff, is pre-approved for an additional 3.5 continuing education units (CEUs).

The conference starts on Monday, February 16, with an opening keynote presentation, “The Evolution of Healthcare and the Quest for Excellence,” by Keith Siddel, PhDc, JD, MBA, CHC.

The full 2015 OR Business Management Conference provides 24.5 CEUs for those who attend both the Preconference Workshop and the full conference.
