The spirit of Halloween is alive and well as many of Blue’s signature attractions are made-over with Enchanted Forest, Creepy Carnival and Haunted Graveyard décor.

A weekend of Halloween-themed family fun awaits as Blue Mountain Resort transforms into The Haunted Hill from Friday October 24th to Sunday October 26th, 2014. The spirit of Halloween is alive and well as many of Blue’s signature attractions are made-over with Enchanted Forest, Creepy Carnival and Haunted Graveyard décor.

Guests are encouraged to face their fears with 50% off Haunted Mountain attractions all weekend long including the Cascade Putting Course, Wind Rider Triple Zips, Timber Challenge High Ropes, Climbing Wall, Plunge! Aquatic Centre, Woodlot Low Ropes, Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster and the Apex Bagjump. Each attraction will feature costumed-guides and unique Halloween activations. While many attractions close after-dark, the Cascade Putting Course will remain open on Friday and Saturday evening from 6:00pm-9:00pm as “The Haunted Graveyard Putting Course” where guests can complete all 18 holes under the watchful eye of Blue’s wicked witches.

The weekend’s signature attraction will be a “Hike on Haunted Hill” presented by Theatre Collingwood in partnership with Collingwood Collegiate Institute’s Drama Club. This spooky, one hour performance will take guests on a guided hike through the haunted forest, Village streets and ghoulish paths of Blue Mountain Resort. Tickets are $15 for Adults, $10 for Youth, and free for children under 5 years of age when accompanied by an adult. Performances run Friday and Saturday evening at 7:00pm and 9:00pm, with a special, family-friendly matinee performance on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm.

A number of complimentary activities will also run from Friday to Sunday care of Blue Mountain Village. Guests can get a head start on Halloween fun with Pumpkin Carving in the centre of the Village, Halloween Button Making, a Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt and more.
