Omaha, Nebraska (PRWEB) October 10, 2014 -- WriteLife LLC, an independent publishing company headquartered in Omaha, NE, announces the acquisition of the WriteLife imprint by Boutique of Quality Books Publishing (BQB), located in Atlanta, Georgia. WriteLife will become the second imprint for BQB Publishing.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to have found a company that will continue to grow and mass distribute the titles that WriteLife has produced. It will be a big step forward for each author and an opportunity to move their books to additional markets,” said Craig Tuttle, President of Prairie Ventures, the private equity firm that founded, owned and operated WriteLife.
Established in 2010, BQB was created to concentrate on quality submissions by writers who had not yet been published. Terri Leidich, the CEO, is herself a published author and has created and grown BQB to become a well-respected and profitable book publishing company. Terri has a history of nurturing authors and providing a means for the company’s contracted authors to become as successful as possible. BQB Publishing today includes a catalog of over 80 books and has produced numerous award-winning titles. The focus of BQB Publishing has been genre fiction for both adults and children, with a few nonfiction titles.
With the addition of the WriteLife imprint, BQB’s catalog will quickly expand to well over 100 titles and growing. “Our intention is to have genre fiction be the focus of our BQB imprint, and our WriteLife imprint will focus on literary fiction and nonfiction from self-help to memoirs and beyond,” states Leidich.
The transition process for the books and authors from WriteLife LLC is currently in process. The print books will soon be available again through writelife.com. As of November 1st, 2014, Writelife titles will be available for wholesale purchase through: Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and New Leaf Distribution. For more information visit http://www.writelife.com.
