Finance Instructors from UC Berkeley, University of San Francisco, and Golden Gate University will hold the 2nd annual Symposium on Behavioral Finance on November 8, 2014 in downtown San Francisco. This is a full-day educational event designed primarily for practicing financial professionals.

The San Francisco Behavioral Finance Symposium is a unique event designed to bring academia and industry together for engaging, educational, and entertaining topics in behavioral finance. This year’s theme, “Behavior: The Financial Game Changer” will incorporate eight presentations from highly experienced speakers, including topics such as "The Psychology of Risk", "Investing as Viewed Through the Lens of Game Theory", and "Using Social Media Data to Predict Financial Markets". Financial professionals and practitioners in wealth management, financial planning, client relations, investor relations, marketing, or any other client-facing roles are especially encouraged to attend. The full-day event costs $220 for general admission, and is discounted to $120 for members of many professional organizations, such as CFA, FPA, and MTA.
