Braintrust Chief Operating Officer, Kate Megaw Officially Recognized by The Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Trainer®
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- Kate Megaw, Braintrust Consulting Group Chief Operating Officer, has joined an exclusive group of world-class trainers by earning the Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST) designation from The Scrum Alliance. As a CST, Megaw is now certified to teach Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) classes.
The Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST) designation is awarded only to a select number of Scrum Professionals who have substantial experience in not only the use of Scrum, but also in assisting others in being successful with implementing Scrum. There are less than 180 CSTs in the world and only 83 who reside in the United States.
Megaw completed this highest level of professional Scrum certification through The Scrum Alliance, a not-for-profit professional organization that offers the world's premiere platform to train top-level ambassadors of Scrum.
In order to earn this designation, Megaw completed a rigorous, two-year application process. The process is intentionally challenging because CST’s play significant roles in helping both projects and organizations transition to the successful use of Scrum.
