With much of daily life moving towards an online format, learning music has also joined the ranks of online education and learning piano the old fashioned way, may be a thing of the past. The Music Workshop has just announced their new Homeschool online piano course allowing students of all levels to learn the language of music.
"Like any other language, music is best learned through an immersive environment." noted Adrian Edward, founder of The Music Workshop®.
The curriculum provides students with a rich, interactive and engaging music learning experience, that will teach them not only how to play the piano, but will equip them with a solid musical foundation that will prepare the student for the study of any other instrument.
Piano lessons are presented in an easy to follow format, which include: 3 DVDs, a workbook, and a one year on-line subscription, so that lessons can be accessed on any modern device including tablets, computers or smart TV's.
In the span of a school year, the course will take the student from Beginner to Intermediate piano. The student will learn how to play many pieces on the piano, as well as learn music notation, chords, scales, sight reading and theory.
The Music Workshop® online piano lessons provide parents with the tools and resources needed to track and manage student progress, including exams and worksheets. "Parents do not need prior musical knowledge in order guide their children through this piano course," says Adrian Edward.
