R.A.K.I Computers Recycling to Sponsor Houston’s Energy Festival and New Partnership with City of Liberty
(PRWEB) October 14, 2014 -- R.A.K.I Computers Recycling is kicking off the fall season with a slew of exciting events. Beginning with October 18th, R.A.K.I will be attending Houston’s 4th annual Energy Day Festival, an event celebrating STEM careers, technology, and energy conservation.
According to their official website, the Energy Day Festival is estimated to have attracted over 20,000 attendees last year. R.A.K.I intends to promote local e-recycling for the Houston area as well as showcase its e-waste management solutions for the various energy firms attending. This will mark R.A.K.I’s first time as an exhibitor of the Energy Day Festival, personifying its new focus on cross market outreach.
“The direction for this company is to present proper e-waste disposal as the solution for corporate entities and individuals alike. We want e-recycling solutions to be the forefront of corporate and community responsibility. So Energy Day is an excellent platform for us” says Darien Harris Marketing and Business Development at R.A.K.I Computers Recycling.
Last we checked, statistics from Sandler Research Institute projected the e-waste management industry to grow by 14.6% due to a hastening turnover rate of modern electronics. While corporate entities are keen on recycling surplus IT, R.A.K.I hopes to reach out to the residential community to bolster awareness of e-recycling solutions for everyone. One such way it plans to do this is with a new partnership with the City of Liberty.
Diane Huddleston, City Council Member of the City of Liberty, has coordinated a recycling drive November 1st for Liberty residents. Serving as its vendor, R.A.K.I Computers Recycling will be collecting electronics as well as employing its hard-drive destruction services for anyone needing secure e-waste disposal. The partnership for this recycling event will hopefully be the start of a long lasting relationship. Collection will take place at 1829 Sam Houston, Liberty, TX 77575.
R.A.K.I plans to spread its wings by venturing into more partnerships and sponsorships for the fall and winter season. The Houston community can also look forward to seeing R.A.K.I partnering with YMCA recreation centers in the upcoming months.
