“We are delighted to be working with the AALMG team. They bring a wealth of experience to brand growth and expansion, and we’re very excited about their passion for the industry
(PRWEB) October 13, 2014
All American Licensing & Management Group (AALMG) announced the signing of furniture lifestyle brand POSTOBELLO to develop a comprehensive line of case goods (including but not limited to bed frames, dining tables and coffee tables) and upholstery goods (including but not limited to sofas, occasional chairs, ottomans and settees) and accessories (including but not limited to lighting, floor coverings, bedding, and table top), all of which will incorporate and showcase the company’s Italian name of “beautiful room”.
POSTOBELLO was co-founded in 1995 by Jen Kates and her mother, Jude Scarboro in Hollywood, California. Jen’s sophisticated yet undeniably comfortable pieces quickly caught the attention of Hollywood’s A-list celebrities (Madonna, Renee Zellweger, Hilary Swank, Ridley Scott and Sheryl Crowe, to name a few) and prestigious home and design media outlets (Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, HGTV and Elle Decor, to name a few).
Formerly licensed with Drexel Heritage, AALMG’s plans are to grow POSTOBELLO’s opportunities to broader distribution by expanding with new pieces that embody the luxury lifestyle without sacrificing livability and affordability. POSTOBELLO’s pieces work together throughout a living space to create an environment of timeless elegance and sophisticated comfort; and by expanding into new lines such as linens, dinnerware and bath accessories, POSTOBELLO will bring its exquisite sense of style to permeate deeper into the lifestyle of the home.
POSTOBELLO Founder and Creative Director Jen Kates shared, “We are delighted to be working with the AALMG team. They bring a wealth of experience to brand growth and expansion, and we’re very excited about their passion for the industry. We couldn’t be in better hands and as a result POSTOBELLO will have a more significant and positive impact.”
Terry Immekus, a partner at AALMG and furniture industry veteran commented, “I’ve known and seen the impact of POSTOBELLO at retail and AALMG is thrilled to be partnering with Jen and the team to not only re-introduce the world to such an iconic brand, but to expand the brand with new pieces and new distribution while still maintaining the company’s mission of being strong, simple and timeless.”
Founded in 1995, POSTOBELLO’s initial growth developed through its custom design business. In 2000 POSTOBELLO launched its first color catalogue, leading to international appeal and demand. In 2005, POSTOBELLO began an exclusive relationship with Drexel Heritage for a complete home collection lifestyle line, POSTOBELLO HOME, which soon became Drexel Heritage’s top performing collection. A second collection, POSTOBELLO COUTURE, was subsequently added. At the end of 2012, POSTOBELLO ended its agreement with Drexel Heritage. Founder Jen Kates continues to design and provide creative direction and leadership for the company. For more information, go to http://www.postobellostyle.com
